Maid cafe - subtle prostitution?

Maid cafes bring up the moral question - is it subtle prostitution? Does it contribute to the degradation of the serving maids who learn that offering their "services" can lead to substantial financial gain? Do maid cafes really breed sorry losers who'd go as far as pay money for woman companionship that they are otherwise unable to acquire? Is it ok for underage girls to satisfy those who fetish over maids?
