In recent chapters of Vampire Knight, it is revealed that Kaname was indeed, resurrected from the grave by his own descendant, Rido Kuran. It appears that Rido used Haruka and Juuri's first born son, who was also named Kaname, as a sacrifice in order to awaken his great ancestor, but little is known as to what actually took place during the ritual. Even more astonishing is the fact that Rido Kuran is still alive... perhaps it's because of Kaname's existence that he can continue living? After all, a servant can never hope to kill his master.
Singaporean cosplayer おくの (Okuno) who is also known as Mike is the man behind this Kaname cosplay. I must admit, I'm glad to see a guy cosplay him, as there are more girl cosplayers of Kaname.
