Next stop, Fanime!

Hi guys!

AOD was pretty fun and all but I spent most of my time inside the malls and our hotel room more than the actual con itself. So I can't really judge on how fun the convention itself was... but whatever! My friends and I won best presentation runner up which was surprising and cool at the same time. We worked hard for that dang skit and it was our first time doing a voice recording so we're so glad it came out well! ^~^;

Next up in line is Fanime. The con I have been waiting for. I love it more than Anime Expo I think and I've been to AX 3 times already and Fanime only 2 times! Heh. I don't know, it's not too crowded but it's definitely not empty. I love the hotels being close and the weather. I also love the friends I've made there, the swap meet, the raves, the atmosphere, the convention center. Anime Expo was great at Anaheim but the Staples center is a bit too long and I end up doing more walking than I'd like to :[ So that deducted points off of AX for me. STILL I love it but Fanime comes first to me....so far :D

I have big plans this year too so I'm going to be busy busy busy! I can't say some of what I'll be doing but I will say it's going to be awesome *~* I'll add a cosplay line-up photo or whatever to this so you can see what I'll be taking. For now I think I will sleep. I am tired....good night you guyyyzzz !!

Holding My First Cosplay Panel. Wow.

Okay, so I'm not really sure if I ever made this official on here but it IS official that I will be a guest at the upcoming "Ani-Vent" a convention that will be held this July in Fresno, CA. I have been asked to be one of the guest and hold my own Cosplay Panel!!!! I got SUPER excited when I was asked and totally accepted the offer! It would be pretty stupid if I didn't, duh!!!

I also have been asked to be a judge at the masquerade so I'm just like...really overwhelmed. It's not even like a HUGE con but it's still a con and more people go to these Fresno conventions because there really isn't anything else in this lame valley I reside in. Ah! Oh I also asked if I could have my own table in the Artist Alley and they said sure! So I will be selling some cosplay accessories and other things there ^~^ Yay for making money, right?

Aside from thaaaat, and my apologies if I already bragged about this. I don't MEAN to brag...I am just so excited and can't believe people would want me to be a guest XP. I guess I just put myself out there a lot and am very social ^~^!

Cosplay Progress, you say?

Nothing really, I've been busy and not near the sewing machine a lot lately. :( Tomorrow I'm going to see Catz again at the park. Might do BBQ or something....dunno, we'll see! Oh and Oerba Dia Vanille looks sooo tempting to add to my cosplay list. She's adorable. I'd like to play the game first :)

Fanime Badge - Purchased!

I'm officially going to Fanime con...which I'm totally stoked about. I can't WAIT to go. We're finally all going as a group with our group cosplays. It's going to be fantastic.. ^^;


Ugh, I slept in way too late today. Keika called me and woke me up, but I told her I was glad!! I don't know why I slept in so long... Anyway, she came over and we talked. Then Robbie came over and chilled with us. I made some food and they watched me play Harvest Moon. Robbie had to leave early so Keika watched me play the game and helped me figure out some of the puzzles I had to solve. @@; This new one (Animal Parade) is pretty cute, it has more of a plot and more puzzles you need to figure out before you can do other normal things.

Oh YEAH...I possibly may be getting some red contacts for my Mercedes and even my Dark Sheik cosplay. :D I've never put in contacts before so I'm pretty nervous about the whole thing @_@; But we'll see how it goes.


Anyway...I don't feel that good so I'm going to get offline now. Good night.
