Coping...

Reality hits you hardest when death is involved... I hate facing it, but for the past two weeks I have to deal with it. When it happened, I couldn't believe it that it happen so soon... I thought there would be more time... I took everything for granted...



And now it's two weeks since the death occurred. It still hurts when I think about it especially when I'm writing this. At first I was blaming myself for it... I could've done something... It was just time though. It can't be helped when it's time. I thank my family and friends for realizing this part. I still wish I could do something, but I know that it's done and there's nothing else I can do but remember the good times.

Right now I'm only coping and trying to get a sense of normalcy back in my life, but still difficult even though it felt like there wasn't much before death happened... It was routine and now that routine is disrupted and completely changed forever.

I kept this quiet to a lot of people. Only a few of my friends knew about it and I told about it. And I thank those people, you know who you are, who have helped me in this time of grief.

One friend inadvertently cheered me up though he didn't know my situation. He just linked me a video and that was somewhat cheering me up. This is that video:

Apparently there's a lot of these video which is called 腰ふりダンス but looking up "MMD Libera Me" also lets you find more of these videos. It occupied my mind.

But it wasn't until I was browsing Danbooru that I encountered some Ao Usagi's art that made me felt better and I was laughing again.

One of the tags on Pixiv said it's a "flat chest". I laughed hard! It was one of the most hilarious thing I heard. Then I looked up some more and found lots more interesting images. It was a step forward to getting my life back.

It was a week ago that I felt there were closure to this death business. And I mean business! You spend LOTS of money when someone dies! I'm kinda sickened by it, but I was also pleasantly surprised to see the generosity of other people. Very kind people.

I know this is one of the strangest post... It was sad but I've put in a lot of ecchi things as well. It can't be helped because there are just a lot of emotions in life and you gotta keep on living. And I guess my way of living is through this ^^; This was pretty much how I felt in the last two weeks.

Anyway there were a few more Ao Usagi's art that I found that day and I was just laughing my head off despite the situation ^^;

1/7 Reimu figure is the title of this picture... Basically only a fraction of Reimu instead of the 1/7 scale ^^; There was a different one that is NSFW, but it was also hilarious!

So now I've been trying to reconfigure my life after this event... I'll continue what I usually do, but maybe not as much. I've been slowing down as it is. Busy life has become busier... Thank you again to everyone who've helped me and for the kind words. I hope to repay your kindness in some way one day.

Azunyan: A Snow Nyan

So I woke up Saturday morning not even looking outside... Around 1 pm I finally took a look outside and it was blanketed in white! I was really ignorant ^^; But it gave me the opportunity since Azunyan has been wanting to go play in the snow...

Okay Azunyan, don't be out too long... It's cold for both you and me you know...
Azunyan: "Not really. It's quite fun out here oniichan!"

Are you sure you're warm enough with just that school blaz... Err... Are you taking it off? And how come it looks like you've got nothing underneath?

Azunyan (after throwing her blazer off): "Teehee, come and catch me!"

Azunyan: "Awww, you caught me... As a reward I'll take my skirt off."
EH!? What?? You're taking off more!?

To be honest, I've been waiting for this opportunity for some snow. I kinda wanted to make this kinds of photoshoots ^^; When I was young I was quite intrigued by this kinds of photoshoots where the women were barely clothed in this kind of weather. I thought it was quite beautiful, but still considering what I went through at this time of the night in this temperature, I have quite the respect for them. This is not easy for me who's covered up... But the subject must be quite good at hanging in there for the shoot. Go go Azunyan!

In the end though, my lack of knowledge of cameras was my downfall... I couldn't get good shots unless I used the flash. Plus it was that cold! Not too mention Azunyan fell a few times... Good thing it was snow, but still, her clothes got quite wet...

Azunyan: "It's ok oniichan. It was very fun in the very short time I was outside." As she looks back through her tracks...

And when I got back inside for some reason this wet hair look on her just looks so sexy that I tried to take a picture of it with a bad setting... Oh well... You can sorta see it ^^;

Yuri Mania 35: Mugi Vision

Gokigenyou minna. As you can see above it's Mugi... And you know how it is when Mugi has that look in her eyes. Well the point of this post is to celebrate the 100th Weekly Lily in Figure.fm. The premise actually came about when I asked around what I should do for it... My comrade at arms (and Mugi's waifu), Yakuri_Moe, suggested  something to do with Mugi Vision. I liked that idea and worked it in my head and well... You know how it is in my head; it will not be clean at all ^^;

So let's put that in The Melancholy of Saber Lily 4koma and see what happens ;P I didn't just make one, nor two but FIVE 4koma! ENJOY! Oh and this post shouldn't be looked at if you're at work...

The Melancholy of Saber Lily Part 45

So the premise is simple. Haruhi is giving Mugi the power to change her visions into reality ^^; You have no idea how hard it was to get all 5 Haruhi together. Chouyusha Haruhi kept falling over and cheerleader Haruhi can only stand on one knee. And they fall over once I put the knee pit licking Haruhi in there... Uh... Yeah...

The Melancholy of Saber Lily Part 46

To be honest this was somewhat forced ^^; I wanted to include Saber Lily for sure, but I couldn't figure out what joke I can play with, but if the joke doesn't work, you still get a Saber orgy in 2 panels :P Figma Saber and Figma Saber Alter were difficult to place together. Uh and I wanted a classier premier of Saber Extra, but oh well, close enough. Below you can see a closer look at the Saber orgy ^_^

The Melancholy of Saber Lily Part 47

I guess Mugi gets another wish ^^;;; Should I even explain? Now I wonder who's the first lucky girl to get skinship from Mugi Aldra? ^o^

It's all in the details... Uh... I don't mean the Revoltech Aldra, though very well detailed she is. I recoloured Aldra's hair for the 4koma to make her blonde like Mugi. Very minor detail, but I wanted to make that distinction that it's Mugi in Aldra's outfit ^^

The Melancholy of Saber Lily Part 48

So which is it? Which part is a dream and which part is reality? =P Oh and I broke Azunyan's neko paw hand in one of these shoots... The peg broke inside and I was trying to get it out with a plier, but I just pushed it in more. So I said screw it and used a screwdriver (har har!) to grind the peg to powder and pulled out the rest when the peg was all gone. Gotta thank Optic for this because I found his broken Figma hand post on my phone and somehow used that method. Figma hands are different since his post, but still similar technique can be used. I used a 1.44 mm screwdriver btw.

The Melancholy of Saber Lily Part 49

So who saw this joke coming when you know that Figma Luka comes with a giant tuna? I at first did not consider getting Luka at all, but then I realized I could make this joke after seeing the preview of the tuna ^^; At first I was gonna get Haruhi to be in Mugi's role, but this Weekly Lily special and Luka came at the same time that I thought I could use it this way ^^ Oh and sorry if Mugi is out of character or anything XD Everyone gets their own characteristics in my head, lol.

It was hard for Figma Luka to bend on the bench and was hard to bring her leg up for the second panel, but I worked with it. Anyway, notice anything different with the picture above and the one in the 4koma?

Maybe I should've washed my hand first?

That's right! It's Mio's face in Mugi's head, which means she doesn't have Mugi's takuan eyebrows. This picture was something I was going to use to change Mio's eyebrows, but I used the wrong face for Mugi to get the eyebrows from. I still used it for a colour reference though.

I posted the above picture as a teaser in Weekly Lily 99. I made sure it turned out different :) So you're looking at an early Weekly Lily 100 right here ^_^  I'll add some more extras later in the Figure.FM post, so keep an eye out for that. Now what do I do for the 50th Melancholy of Saber Lily 4koma...

Nyagato ~Metamo Version

"Nyaa..." In a deadpan voice as Yuki would've put it. This is the Metamo version of Nagato Yuki made by Bandai. Probably one of the only nekomimi Nagato Yuki (or should I say Nyagato?) figure around aside from the trading figures.

Metamo, short for metamorphosis. In this case, Metamo for this figure is colour changing. I'm not a fan of taking figure boxes anymore, so here it is all in one picture. As you can see you can have different versions of this Nyagato!

But first... I have to talk about my first Metamo figure.

There are plenty of bunny girl Haruhi figures around, but not one that changes colour. This is my first bunny girl Haruhi, the second being the Sega version and the third would be the Gift version.

I guess I don't really like the reflective eyes, but it is a cheaper kind of figure. it doesn't really matter anyway.

I forget how well built Haruhi is for a school girl... That or they're very generous when they make figures ^^;

The backside with that unsightly stand... I don't want to remove it when I display it though since it might actually lean. Darn cheap figure...

Here's that sign in upright position.

It kinda looks like she's on a crutch, lol. But anyway this is the fully coloured Haruhi. When the figure gets warm she changes to white. I think there is another version where she is originally red instead of brown.

Ok, she's a little bit dusty... I really like her bunny tail and I have to say her bare back looks really, really good.

And now for the colour change. Haruhi is an older Metamo figure, so some of the brown colour sticks to the white part even when it's warm/hot.

You might think that perhaps this colour change gimmick because of temperature is nothing new. And I would agree with you. I was not impressed by it, but I am a big Haruhi fan and I was lacking some of her figures. When I bought this Haruhi I was not in a good mood (I tend to shop when I'm in a bad mood...)

I like putting just one finger on her leg, it looks like her stocking has a run.

Once I got home and opened this Haruhi, I was giddy like a schoolboy! Okay, a perverted schoolboy... I was just handling her on a hot summer day, so I quickly got her to change colour just by touching, and when I realized where I touched her, I was just giggling with a perverted face; a happy perverted face. It's very nice to know I can be cheered up just by this, eh? Then again, who wouldn't be happy if you're touching a girl and she changes colour?

And now on to Nyagato! I think I remembered some people complained how her face didn't look that good... Thankfully I bought this on sale ^^

So you're wondering why she looks like a cow? Well the tail wasn't attached from the package, so I was trying to attach it, but since it's becoming warmer here in Vancouver, I can't help but change some of her colour just by holding her and attaching her tail.

Uh... No... I wasn't touching her in appropriate places, honest... I was just trying to attach her tail...

Mooooooo!

I was trying to give her the Two-Face look, but I can only do so much by touching her...

You can see most of the base of her tail is white. It's where I've been holding the tail.

Hmmmm... It looks like the evidence is obvious enough... There are prints on her everywhere! Well it's evident that Ecchi Man's been here... Might as well continue.

Even though her clothes change colour her pantsu are still pure white ;)

You might be able to determine my identity by these fingerprints... But you don't know which finger this is :P

To recover her original colours, you can just put the figure into the fridge. Which is what I did... My dad saw the Haruhi whose colour was being recovered inside the fridge... I explained to him about the colour change, lol.

To fully change into the white colour it'd have to be 30 degrees celsius... Or you can touch her as I've mentioned before. Or you can use a hair dryer. I'll try that once I get a hold of a hair dryer.

Which do you prefer? Black or white?

Hopefully the tail stay attached properly... It was hard to put in.

Right now Nyagato is placed near my computer. I've used Haruhi as a thermometer in my room. Haruhi stayed white for all of summer last year. It was freaking hot! So now this Nyagato will be my thermometer for the computer. If she becomes white then perhaps I need to get an air conditioner...
